COLLEGE NETWORKING NIGHT

In collaboration with SCPASA, FilAm Creative presents, College Networking Night! A night dedicated to helping Filipino Americans and people of color, connect and learn from Filipino Americans in the industry, as well as meet and connect with fellow college students who are pursuing a career in the Entertainment Industry.

Our special guest speaker will be:

Candida Boyette-Clemons

Vice President, Alternative Programming, MTV & VH1

Ms. Boyette-Clemons graduated from NYU and previously served as VH1’s VP of Original Programming, VP for MTV/MTV2 Production + Development,Executive Producer, MTV2 Production + Development and a producer at Viacom, BET and MTV Networks.

She’s worked on Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out (Season 5); Wild ‘N Out: Wildest Moments; Charlamagne &Friends; Hip Hop Squares; What’s Good; The Week in Jams.

The networking format will be a speed networking format where attendees will sit in two rows facing each other and get 3 min. to network. When the bell rings one side moves to the chair next to them and the fun starts for another 3 min. This process continues for about an hour after you’ve met about a dozen new friends!

Everyone is invited and open to all! You do not need to be Filipino, a college student or a member of FAC. Come on out and get a month of networking done in one hour!
