FilAm Creative’s “VOICES” [S1 EP1] – Manny Streetz, The Importance of Representing His Heritage and Partying with N’Sync

It’s HUMP DAY!!! Happy Wednesday everyone!

FilAm Creative launched it’s Podcast/Vidcast today. The show is titled “VOICES.”

The show is produced and hosted by FilAm Creative members who built everything from scratch, including their backdrop (with assistance from Alberto Lapena, Jr) and Pilipino Workers Center as our community partner.

FAC: VOICES is a video podcast in which we have conversations with Filipino Americans in the arts, media, and creative fields. Hosts Walter Talens and Arlyn Dela Pena sit down with prominent Filipino-Americans (Fil-Ams) as they tell their stories, challenges, and triumphs from their unique perspectives.

Episode 1: We sit down with Manny Streetz. Manny is a KIIS-FM radio personality, an actor, musician, and overall entertainer. He takes us through his journey from Florida to California, how he first started in radio, the importance of representing your community, and we hear about all the myriad creative projects he is a part of. Special thanks to Manny Streetz for joining us!

He’s an avid traveler who enjoys losing himself in the culture, food, and heritage of the countries he visits. You can often find him exploring the food culture of Los Angeles, California.
