This past Saturday, March 24 was our 4th annual Halo Halo Headshots, a program founded by Walter Talens for FilAm Creative as a fundraising networking event for photographers and actors, helping new actors and young professionals get affordable headshots, to help promote actors into audition rooms with the goal of helping increase diversity in entertainment. Last Sunday, July 23 was our 3rd annual Halo Halo Headshots, a program created by Walter Talens to bring affordable “Headshots” for actors starting out in the entertainment industry and bringing talented photographers from different fields of photography to share their skills. Heels off after FilAm Creative’s 3rd Hollywood Actors Panel yesterday was FilAm Creations’ 6th Meeting and Potluck. And, boy, the monthly social had one of its most hilarious break-the-ice introductions yet! This first sign should have been a warning… One of our members brought balut to the potluck! For those of you who don’t know, balut is a developing bird embryo (usually a duck or chicken) that is boiled and eaten from the shell.
