On the 28th of April in 2023, FilAm Creative was invited into Lionsgate’s inner sanctum for a special screening of Blindspotting’s Filipino-centric episode (Season 2, Episode 4 of “By Hook or By Crook”), featuring a cameo by Dante Basco (Rufio from “Hook”) along with P-Lo, Guapdad 4000 and Ruby Ibarra.
It was incredible to see an episode produced especially for the Filipino/Bay Area community (and beyond).

After the screening, April Absynth joined FilAm Creative including filmmaker Patricio Ginelsa (“Lumpia With A Vengeance”) and Timothy Granadores (“13 Reasons Why”) to celebrate the rest of the night.
