The FAC Film Festival (FACFF) is the first Los Angeles-based, Filipino-American film festival of its kind. We focus on highlighting Filipino and Filipino-American artists and filmmakers, while simultaneously building a safe and supportive community. The festival will feature a curated lineup of in-person programming for our extended audiences to encourage future projects for film and TV.

Rules & Terms
○ Early Bird $20 | $15 for students (May 8th – May 22nd)
○ Regular: $25 | $20 for students (May 23 – July 5th)
○ Late Bird: $35 | $25 for students( July 6th – July 20th)

○ Accepts Independent Short Films and Music Videos, produced, directed, written or Principle Cast by FILIPINX filmmakers.

○ Minimum 30 second film, Maximum 20 minutes with credits.
■ Animations, documentaries, narratives, biopics, musicals, music videos, etc.
■ Any genres accepted.
○ Any premiere status accepted and no year limit completion requirements.
■ Films must be fully completed prior to the date the project is submitted to FACFF.
○ Films must be submitted through FAC Film Festival OR FACFF FilmFreeway with a PRIVATE LINK, (YouTube, Vimeo, Self-Hosted. Other formats will not be accepted). Accepting Online Screeners ONLY. *MUST include passwords if password protected.
○ Films containing any other language than English must include English subtitles burned
into the video format.
○ High Quality standards must be met. (Must submit a 1080P video file with properly
mixed and leveled tracks).

○ By submitting a film to FACFF, filmmakers affirm that they have cleared all rights to
materials within their films including but not limited to music rights, actor releases,
location release, artwork release, etc.
1. If accepted into the festival and selected to screen, you will need to send a DCP
copy to us of your exhibition film. All films will screen on DCP.
2. Entry fees are non-refundable.
There are no refunds for double submissions, for any submission that asks to
withdraw, regardless of reason, or submissions that are not accepted to screen.
If you have double submitted, you will receive a credit for another submission.
3. By submitting your film for consideration for FACFF you agree to screen your
short film/music video. Submission cannot be withdrawn after the
announcement of the official selection.
4. Please note that by submitting your film, being accepted and submitting your
DCP to screen you are confirming that FACFF can screen your film, regardless of
another festival’s acceptance and are bound by these terms and conditions.
