Los Angeles-based Director Patricio Ginelsa and Editor A.J. Calomay didn’t wait for opportunities; they created them.
Over 20 years ago, they filmed their first micro budget feature film, “Lumpia.” More recently, they had the chance to reimagine and retell “Lumpia” through “Lumpia With A Vengeance,” starring former UFC champion Mark Muñoz, April Absynth (STARZ “Blindspotting”), Katrina Dimaranan (Miss Philippines Universe Tourism 2021), Earl Baylon (Netflix “Tomb Raider”), Danny Trejo (“Machete”) and a talented ensemble.
Fresh off their nationwide theatrical release and sold-out screening at the 2021 San Diego Comic-Con, join host Law Sharma from CinemaBlend and the cast & crew of “Lumpia With A Vengeance” to talk about comic books, grassroots marketing, and of course, lumpia.
