Instructor Bio:
Screenwriter/Producer Donald Martin has lectured and taught workshops on pitching and screenwriting at film schools such as the American Film Institute (AFI), University of Southern California (USC), University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), New York University (NYU), Pepperdine University, LA Film School, and many more. He has been commissioned to write feature screenplays for Miramax, Paramount Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures and has over 40 produced movies and mini-series to his credit in television. His wide range of work (such as the feature film MILTON’S SECRET, starring Donald Sutherland and Michelle Rodriguez; the feature film TOTO, shot in Manila; HBO Films’ DIM SUM FUNERAL; and Reelz Channel’s BOMB GIRLS: FACING THE ENEMY) has garnered worldwide recognition and won international awards and nominations for Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay, Best Foreign Film, Best TV Movie, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actor/Actress.
