Our first informational writers session took place yesterday afternoon created and led by Kaitlyn Fae.
We went over our writing goals and expectations for the next few months, as well as placing everyone in writing teams. Handouts were also dispersed among the attending members of all sketch comedy levels. Those who weren’t able to make it, their handouts were received via email as well as placed on teams. The handouts included information and examples about writing sketch comedy.
This is our first genre we will be developing and creating from. Our goal is simple: to encourage members to write creatively.
Small snacks and light refreshments were shared with fellow members!
All members must submit their sketches to their respective leaders by the end of next month. Our second FAC Writers Group Informational Session will meet again the month thereafter.
