Join the conversation with Asian and Filipino American writers working in network television today. Listen to their experiences as working writers and how they got to where they are now. Interact with the panelists and FAC members during the reception and after party. Learn about open opportunities and build your network.

MEET ONE OF THE EVENT’S SPECIAL GUEST PANELISTS:
MICHAEL GOLAMCO
~ writer / playwright ~
Michael Golamco is an Los Angeles based screenwriter and playwright.
He developed pilots for NBC, Freeform, and Warner Brothers Television. As both writer and formerly an executive story editor, he wrote for NBC’s Grimm starting with the Season 3 episode, El Cucuy.
His latest project is the feature length film, Please Stand By from director Ben Lewin (The Sessions) and starring Dakota Fanning, Toni Collette and Alice Eve.

His plays have been produced at NYC’s Second Stage Theatre, Chicago’s Victory Gardens Theatre, Geffen Playhouse, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Guthrie and many others around the U.S.and internationally.
He has been awarded new play commissions from Second Stage, South Coast Repertory, and the aforementioned Geffen Playhouse.
He was the recipient of a Helen Merrill Award and a member of Center Theatre Group’s Writers Workshop. He is an alumnus of New Dramatists (Class of 2016).
