Saturday, December 3rd will be our Fil-Am Creative: Television Writers Panel  — a panel discussion and networking event featuring special guest panelists who represent the craft of writing across the board.

Join the conversation with Asian and Filipino American writers working in network television today.  Listen to their experiences as working writers and how they got to where they are now.  Interact with the panelists and FAC members during the reception and after party.  Learn about open opportunities and build your network.

MEET THE MODERATOR OF THE FAC TELEVISION WRITERS PANEL:

DEXTER ADRIANO
~ editor / director / producer ~

Dexter Adriano is a veteran television and film Editor who has been working in Hollywood since the early 1990s. He is currently an Editor for MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D./ABC.  

He began his editing career at Concorde/New Horizons, the company of renowned filmmaker Roger Corman and went on to work as an Assistant Editor for the television show CLUELESS and the motion pictures SELENA and THREE KINGS (the latter for which he received an Associate Editor credit).

His editing credits also include LIZZIE McGUIRE, JONAS, UNFABULOUS, PHIL OF THE FUTURE, PSYCH and the hit CW TV show, ARROW.

He was one of the Editors for the FOX television show THE FOLLOWING which he shared a Best-Editing-In-A-Series nomination from the Online Film & Television Association in 2014.

In 2015, he was an Editor on DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW on the CW.

Outside of editing, Dexter is also a creator, producer and director.

He was a co-executive producer for the first Filipino American film, THE DEBUT.

And, he is also the Director/Executive Producer/Co-Creator of the web series, SWEETHEARTS OF THE GALAXY which was shown on Stan Lee’s World of Heroes YouTube channel.

Dexter will be the moderator of FilAm Creative’s TV Writers Panel, Saturday, Dec. 3rd.
