FilAm Creative Launching 2 Online Video Channels

FilAm Creative, a community organization dedicated to advancing Filipino Americans in entertainment and media, is creating 2 new online video channels: FAC TV and BIDYO!

“FAC TV” will showcase FAC event and program coverage.
“BIDYO” will feature original content created by Filipino Americans.

BIDYO CALL FOR PROJECT IDEAS
BIDYO is putting out a call for project proposals. The first season will focus on low-budget video projects. Each video will be five minutes or less, and can be a standalone project or part of a series. All genres are welcome. 

Content must strive to fit the pillars of our channel:
– A Filipino-American voice: the subject matter, onscreen talent, or creators
– Enlightening: we learn/experience something new
– Compelling: it’s unique and interesting

To qualify, email your name to bidyotv@gmail.com with “BIDYO proposal” in the subject line. You will be emailed back with submission instructions. The proposal should include a logline and synopsis of your project, with details about the genre and (if possible) examples of similar projects. Please indicate the role you’d like to play in the project – producer, writer, director, talent, etc. At this stage, we will not be accepting finished scripts for proposed projects. We’ll send you a release form to agree to and return along WITH the proposal. DO NOT send a proposal without the release form. *Submissions will not be read without an agreed upon release form.*

Deadline: Friday July 17, 11:59pm

We’re looking to greenlight and produce at least five new projects for this inaugural season. Proposals will be reviewed based on compatibility and produceability. Good luck!
